DIY Christmas Gifts in a Mason Jar

DIY Christmas gifts in a mason jar isn’t new.  It’s been around for years, but it’s still one of those gifts that can be perfect to whip up for those you love.

Years ago when we had barely any money for Christmas (okay, make that barely any money for MANY Christmases) I did a lot of homemade gifts.  Buying gifts for everyone on our list was simply out of the question, especially since we had kids.  We just couldn’t afford it.

However, there were homemade gifts that required very little cost that I was able to come up with.  One year I did pallet signs.  Another year I gave handmade soap I had whipped up.  Other years it was baked goods.

You can never go wrong with food.

That’s why I love the mason jar Christmas gifts.  There are so many different combinations you can create and gift to the people on your list.

Many people love homemade baked goods but don’t necessarily have the time or patience to spend making them themselves.  However, the Christmas gifts in a mason jar idea saves them a lot of time.  Often they can just dump the mix in a bowl, add an ingredient or two, and they’ve got their batter ready to go in the oven.

They get their homemade cookies or brownies or whatever, and it barely took them any time!

Today I want to share with you a list of various mason jar Christmas food gifts you can make for everyone on your list this year.
