Allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for about 5-7 minutes. This will give the flavors time to mingle together, creating a rich and delicious gingerbread syrup.

Remove the saucepan from heat.  Let the mixture cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, transfer your homemade gingerbread creamer to a mason jar or an airtight container. Store it in the fridge.

Whether you prefer your coffee black or enjoy experimenting with different flavor combinations, this homemade gingerbread coffee creamer is a game-changer.

Simply brew your favorite cup of coffee, and add a splash of this creamer to your mug – yes, even if you usually like it black. It’s nice treat from the regular way you take your coffee.

The blend of milk, condensed milk, and a perfect amount of molasses creates a creamy texture with just the right balance of sweetness.

I like to use a frother to froth up my creamer to make it feel that  much more decadent.

Experiment with Your Favorite Milk

Feel free to personalize this recipe according to your taste preferences and dietary choices. Swap out the milk for almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, or even cashew milk. The beauty of this homemade creamer lies in its versatility – make it your own!

That being said, depending on what milk you use will change the consistency.  If I’m using a dairy-free milk, I like to use oat milk because I find it’s creamier than other dairy-free milks.

However, no matter how creamy a dairy free milk is, there’s no way it’ll make the creamer as creamy as one made with milk products.  That’s just how it is.  But it’s still pretty good and a nice dairy-free treat.

Coconut milk is probably the creamiest, but I just don’t like the taste of coconut milk in coffee. However, there are plenty of people who love coconut milk in their coffee so don’t be afraid to try it.

If you need the creamer to be dairy-free you’ll want to substitute the condensed milk as well for extra dairy-free milk.

The Gift of Gingerbread

Looking for a great recipe to gift to friends and family during the holiday season? Whip up a batch of this gingerbread coffee creamer, pour it into a festive mason jar, and tie it with a ribbon.

It’s a thoughtful and delicious present that will bring a smile to any coffee lover’s face.  You can also make some gingerbread cookies to give to them with the creamer.

Just remember, if you are going to gift the creamer, I suggest making it the day of, and then keeping it chilled until you give it to them and be sure to tell them it needs to be stored in the fridge.

A Toast to Cozy Mornings

As the cold winter mornings approach, treat yourself to the perfect cup of coffee enhanced by the delicious flavor of homemade gingerbread creamer.
