Living a Simple Life in a Complicated World

Today I am really excited, and to be honest, quite a bit nervous to write this post.  Months ago I started on a writing project besides my blog.  I decided I wanted to try my hand at an eBook which seemed crazy to me to even attempt.  Other successful people wrote books, I didn’t.  Would I have enough to write about?  Would anyone even want to buy it?

But, each night as I sat down at my computer, the words just continued to flow.  So I kept writing.

And today, that eBook, titled “Living a Simple Life in a Complicated World” is ready for others to read!  As nervous as I am to share it with the public, my mom already promised she’d read it.  We can always count on our moms to be our number #1 fan, can’t we? 🙂

So, what is the book about?

Well, I don’t know about you, but I have struggled for years to find a way to live a simple life in a complicated world.  And this world is VERY complicated.  And busy.

How, as moms especially do we manage to juggle it all? How do we do what we need to do for our homes and our children and our husbands and our jobs yet still maintain some sanity?

Over time our family has made small steps to a simpler life.  This past year when we moved to the country we embraced it a little further.  But you don’t need to live in the country to embrace simplicity.  You can embrace it right in the middle of the city.  Actually, there is a friend of mine who does just that with her three kids, growing a garden, making her own food from scratch, making soap and candles, and even embracing a waste-free life!   She is proof that it doesn’t matter where you live, you can embrace the simple life.  You can check her blog out at Simple Life in the City.

You might feel like you don’t even know where to start for a simpler life.  It might feel overwhelming when you think of all the changes you need to make to even get there.  This book will help you in your journey.  It explains that you don’t have to change everything overnight, but even small changes, baby steps can make a difference.

In this book you will read about decluttering, living within your means, and becoming more self-sufficient.  There is also information in there about unplugging from technology once in awhile, simplifying your schedule to enjoy some down time, and how holding on to your faith can be an integral part of the simple life.

And the best part is that this book is a short, easy read at only 32 pages.  We are all so busy (that’s why I wrote this eBook!) and I get that you may not necessarily have time to read a 200 page book depending on what season of life you are in.  You can get through this book in no time and feel a little more equipped to work towards simplifying your life.

I would feel so honored if you chose to download this book.  It’s completely free to download by subscribing to my email list.  You will also get access to my resource library with other resources.

And if you decided to download it,  I’d love to hear from you!  I am so excited for you to join me on this journey of living a simple life.  I hope your future is full of more moments that include smelling the lilac bushes, cuddling with your children, and embracing the little things.
